In addition to the advising system offered in the Carroll School, Boston College offers many resources to assist you in your academic pursuits during your undergraduate experience.

Boston College Library System

The libraries here at Boston College are among the most outstanding University libraries in the region. Learn more about these outstanding learning facilities:

Thomas P. O'Neill Library
The main research library, the Thomas P. O'Neill, Jr. Library, houses over 1.3 million volumes, study space and numerous workstations providing access to resources.

Bapst Library
This English Collegiate Gothic building houses the art and art history collections, graduate and undergraduate study space.

Burns Library
In addition to rare books, special collections, and university archives, the John J. Burns Library is home to the Irish Music Center and the Irish Music Archives.

Government Documents and Microforms
The Boston College Libraries are a selective depository for U.S. Government Documents; microforms collection includes over two million items in micro formats.

Law Library
Primarily serving the law school on the Newton Campus, this library houses legal and related materials.

Media Center
Located in O'Neill Library, the Center has a non-print collection with facilities for viewing and listening.

Virtual Data Center 
This new center will enhance quantitative research at Boston College by consolidating access to data collections, analytical software, and consulting services supporting quantitative research across disciplines.

 

 

The Connors Family Learning Center

The CFLC's primary function is to provide free tutoring to all students in over 60 courses of study. However, the CFLC also offers support services to students with learning disabilities or Attention Deficit Disorder, and instructional support for graduate students and faculty. All tutoring is provided on-site in a very comfortable learning center housed in O'Neill Library, right on Boston College's main Chestnut Hill campus.
