Boston College Venture Competition
Boston College Venture Competition (BCVC) is a business plan competition designed to promote and support entrepreneurship at the undergraduate level at Boston College. With mentoring from alumni and a facutly advisor, students develop and implement the skills necessary for starting successful businesses.
Each year student teams work over the course of a semester to develop business plans for new businesses. The business plans are submitted for judging, and finalists are chosen to present their plans to a panel of judges consisting of industry executives. Cash prizes are awarded to the top three teams - $10,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place, and $2,000 for third place.
