Lunch With A Leader

The Winston Center offers opportunities for students to meet with leaders in close quarters for lunch and informal conversation several times each year. An effort is made to invite student participants who have a demonstrated interest that is related to the leader’s area of expertise.

Jeff Larson is the president of Mediassociates, a media planning, buying and optimization agency that guides clients to better advertising campaign results. With more than 20 years of brand building and strategic marketing experience at Procter & Gamble, Subway Restaurants, and Stew Leonard’s, Jeff understands the challenges facing today’s marketers and how a strategic media agency partner can accelerate business results. Jeff started his career in management consulting with Andersen Consulting. He has an MBA from Yale University and a BA from Boston College. When not building brands, Jeff is mixing it up on the soccer field, ski slope, lake or anywhere else without walls.



Brendan Hickey ’95

Brendan Hickey is a 1995 graduate of Boston College and double-majored in Finance and Communications. He married his BC girlfriend and is the father of 4 future BC graduates. He is the sales manager for Oracle covering the state of New York. Brendan has worked for four billionaires. None of them were born salespeople. Having learned from the best, Brendan will share with you the lessons he learned and will show you a way to achieve a six figure salary and professional satisfaction before you turn 30.

Irene Chini received her Masters degree in Management of Arts and Cultural activity from the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice in 2012. In April 2016, she received a PhD in Regional Planning and Public Policies at the IUAV University of Venice, focusing on regeneration projects in the City of Venice, especially on the project of a new covered market in the center of Mestre (the mainland of Venice). She obtained a fellowship research at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice to study the urban regeneration and economic reactivation of the Venetian business hub located in Porto Marghera, the largest industrial (and dismissed) area in Italy. Her research interest includes urban regeneration practices, placemaking, creative and cultural industries, city management, globalization and urban competiveness.
