Lunch With A Leader
The Winston Center offers opportunities for students to meet with leaders in close quarters for lunch and informal conversation several times each year. An effort is made to invite student participants who have a demonstrated interest that is related to the leader’s area of expertise.

Randy Seidl is senior vice president and general manager of the Enterprise Servers, Storage and Networking organization in the Americas at HP, where he is responsible for sales and operations.
Seidl brings more than 25 years of global sales and executive management experience to HP, part of a career that includes growing and scaling both emerging and Fortune 500 companies.
Seidl joined HP from Sun Microsystems, where he most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of North America. While at Sun, he also served as vice president and general manager for Financial Services sales, where he transformed his team from the worst in the United States to the No. 1 global selling unit in fiscal year 2008.
Prior to Sun, Seidl was chief executive officer and a board member at Permabit, co-founder and executive vice president at GiantLoop, and chairman and chief executive officer of Workgroup Solutions. He began his career at EMC in 1985 as the 33rd employee, and was instrumental in EMC’s global growth.
A graduate of the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, Seidl serves on Boston College’s Board of Trustees as a Trustee Associate and leads various committees. He also serves on the Board of Massachusetts Mentoring Partnership.
Seidl has attended executive education programs at Stanford University, Harvard University and MIT. He is a member of the CEO Club of Boston, Brae Burn Country Club and the World Presidents’ Organization. He is a frequent presenter to leadership groups and students, focusing on the topics of sales, performance management, coaching and personal life goals.

Sam Kennedy serves as President of Fenway Sports Group. Previously, he served as the Executive Vice President of Fenway Sports Group (formerly New England Sports Enterprises, LLC) and as its Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Since he joined the Red Sox, he and his staff have increased sponsorship revenue by more than 250 percent, premium licensing revenue by 160 percent and the season ticket base by 30 percent. Addittionally, FSG, under Kennedy’s guidance, added several clients, including Athletes’ Performance and English Premier League team Fulham FC. Kennedy was also involved in important early work on former FSG president Mike Dee’s new stadium naming-rights deal in Florida with Sun Life Financial, and was a key liaison with the NHL for the wildly successful Winter Classic at Fenway Park.
