Sanofi Chief Executive Officer and Genzyme Corporation Chairman Christopher A. Viehbacher talked about his company’s local investments (Sanofi subsidiary Genzyme’s headquarters are in Cambridge), and called for new funding models for drug research at the March 6 Chief Executives’ Club of Boston. Marc N. Casper, president and chief executive officer of Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc., introduced Viehbacher.
