The MSF program enrolls a diverse group of students from all over the world with outstanding potential for leadership and academic and professional excellence.

Admission

The MSF Program is designed for experienced professionals who are seeking to gain or deepen their knowledge and insight in finance, to broaden and enhance their opportunities within the industry, and to become recognized leaders in their fields.  We offer our students two curriculum options - an asset management track, which stresses securities valuation and portfolio construction; or a corporate finance track, which emphasizes corporate tax issues, value-maximizing strategies, and valuation of the firm.

A number of MSF students have earned previous graduate degrees, and an increasing number pursue the MBA/MSF dual-degree. While notable for the diversity of their individual achievements, our students present a consistent record of taking initiative, leading change, and demonstrating a desire to make an impact in the world.

The rigorous and innovative curriculum is taught by a world class faculty who are deeply committed to expanding the boundaries of knowledge and excellence in teaching. Our location in Boston, the 4th largest financial center in the world, allows us to integrate the academic with the practical applications of finance. The Office of Graduate Management Admissions invites you to learn more about our program offerings by attending an information session or visiting a class.

We strongly encourage you to consider the Boston College MSF Program as the cornerstone to your future success.
