Career Services
Career planning begins even before your first class. The MSA Faculty Director helps you design a curriculum that fits your academic background, meets your career goals and ensures compliance with the CPA license requirements in your intended state of employment. Once you've set your sights on a career direction, you can take advantage of a wide range of career and placement services offered by the Boston College Career Center. The services include counseling, career workshops and seminars, mock interview sessions and help writing and designing letters and resumes.
Major firms in both industry and public accounting consider Boston College
a prime recruiting school and BC hosts extensive on-campus interviewing. Every
year, more than 200 of these organizations visit the Boston College campus to
interview students. The interviews produce outstanding job offers in public
accounting, consulting, industry and government. Historically, 50 percent of
our graduates accept positions with multinational professional services firms.
Additionally, faculty also enjoy excellent relationships with recruiters from
corporations and professional services firms and they are always willing to
share their marketplace contacts with students.
