National Jesuit MBA Community Day of Service
Saturday, April 26, 2008 | 10AM-3PM

Following the Jesuit education tradition of moving from experience to reflection to action, all Carroll School of Management students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to join every Jesuit MBA program across the country in a day of giving back to their community. This outreach is the embodiment of our belief that with privilege comes responsibility.

Boston College will be partnering with Steps to Success (STS) in Brookline, MA to clean up and landscape public housing apartment complexes and assist in a voter registration drive.  STS was established eight years ago as an academic intervention program to reach low-income students and their families, nearly all living in Brookline public housing. Today, STS serves 300 young people, grades 4 to 12, and seeks to make school success and post-secondary education absolute goals and achievable realities for them. Further details of the event, as well as post-event celebration information will be available shortly however please note that all MBA students will receive credit for seven hours of service for their participation.

We hope that you will join us as we live the Carroll School of Management's Graduate Program's motto "through cooperation and integrity we prosper."
