Dan Price | Aspiring Principal Fellow, Malden Catholic High School
Dan Price is a native of Carbondale, PA where he benefited from an excellent education in two Catholic schools, St. Rose Elementary and Scranton Preparatory School. He stayed with the Jesuits after graduating from Scranton Prep and attended Fordham University where he received his BA in 1997. Upon graduating from Fordham, Dan began his career in education at St. Ignatius of Loyola School in New York City, teaching 6th grade math, science and religion. He immediately felt at home educating students and partnering with their families in the Catholic school setting that served him so well. He continued teaching, coaching, and guiding student-athletes in grades 5 through 8 at The Epiphany School in NYC and Monsignor Haddad Middle School in Needham where he has served as the guidance counselor and 7th and 8th grade boys’ basketball coach since 2009. During his time at Monsignor Haddad, Dan earned his Master’s in Educational Leadership/Catholic School Leadership from Boston College. He is passionate about providing a holistic and experiential education that develops a student’s personal faith, mind, and heart. Dan is excited and grateful to be a part of the Lynch Leadership Academy and knows that his experience will help him to provide students with an education that enables them to take advantage of excellent higher education opportunities. What the future hold for his students truly inspires Dan and he is grateful for the support given to his educational efforts by his wife, Christin, and their sons, Matthew and Liam.
