Yeshi Gaskin Lamour | Principal, Holmes Elementary School
Yeshi Gaskin Lamour has been serving as the principal of the Oliver Wendell Holmes Elementary School for two years. She started her teaching career in the Boston Public Schools where she served as a math teacher (11/12th grade), an inclusion teacher (2nd/4th grade), and a teacher leader. She also served as a coordinator for special education and student support at the Haley Pilot School. She is grounded by her core values of social justice, high expectations, and cultivating social agents of change in her students. One of her favorite books is Mindset by Carol Dweck. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Lesley University in Management, a Master’s degree in elementary and special education from Boston College where she was also a recipient of the Donovan Urban Teaching Scholar award, and an advanced degree in school leadership from Northeastern University via the Principal Residency Network (PRN).
