Nathaniel Fick

Author of One Bullet Away: The Making of a Marine Corps Officer

Leading from the Front: Lessons from Afghanistan and Iraq

As an elite Marine Recon officer, Nate Fick led platoons in Afghanistan and Iraq, and brought all his men home safely. The lessons he learned under fire are as applicable in the classrooms or the boardroom as they are on the battlefield. Fick draws from his experience to explore the challenges of building consensus, the relationship between authority and responsibility, and the absolute importance of ethics in all good decision-making.
