Professional Responsibility, Interdisciplinary Collaboration and Leadership in Clinical Ethics*

This day-long conference will provide health care and allied professionals and pre-professional students with the tools to recognize the ethical content of care-giving situations. The goal of the program is to increase understanding of available strategies and resources to assist both in the decision-making process and the resolution of problems.
Conference Objectives
- Clarify the nature and ground of professional responsibility for ethical patient care.
- Prepare nurses and other health care professionals to be resourceful leaders in the area of clinical ethics.
- Facilitate egalitarian collaboration among interested parties on behalf of patients.
