The BC MBA Class of 2017 arrived on campus for orientation last week. The new full-time MBA students begin their studies with Introduction to Strategic Management, but they took a break to smile for the camera.

The new class of 88 students represent 19 different countries and come from 18 different U.S. States. Their undergraduate degrees were earned at 78 different colleges and universities, including 6 students who attended Boston College. Ten students already hold graduate degrees, including a medical doctor from Turkey. Collectively, they speak 25 different languages.

Six students have military experience, including two who have served in the U.S. Navy, one in the U.S. Army, one in the U.S. Coast Guard, one in the Chinese Republic Air Force, and one in the Korean Army.

The Class of 2017 have worked in 32 different job industries and have a combined 401 years of work experience. They will forego approximately $12.4 million in income over the course of two years to pursue their MBAs at Boston College.
