Carroll School of Management Graduate Programs

Management Practice Experience (MPRX)

Students in Fulton Hall

The Program's continued emphasis on both skills-based and applied learning continues throughout the second semester of the full-time program in The Management Practice Experience. Students, working in teams, confront the "real-time, real-world" business challenges and opportunities faced by market-leading public and private enterprises.  Each team embraces a 90-day management project and applies its skills, knowledge, creativity, and hard work to building, developing, and communicating meaningful business solutions for our external partners.

DIANE WEISS COMPETITION

The prestigious Diane Weiss Competition, named in memory of an outstanding MBA program graduate, is the exciting capstone experience of a demanding first year of applied learning and professional growth. All MBA Project teams present their work to the faculty. Finalists are chosen to make formal presentations before a panel of judges comprised of CEOs and senior managers from leading companies. Teams are judged on the quality of their analyses, the feasibility and creativity of their proposed solutions and recommendations, and their performance as a cross-functional team. Top-ranked teams receive prominent recognition and awards.
