Dual Degrees
Combining graduate management education with study in another field provides a unique career advantage. In the increasingly cross-functional world of global business, companies seek executives who bring to the job both managerial skills and advanced training in another discipline.
Through the overlap of electives, you can complete a dual degree program in significantly less time than it would take to complete each program separately. Dual Degree Essay Questions
Essay 1: Please discuss how you plan to achieve your short and long term career goals. What challenges might you face in achieving these goals and how will you address those challenges? Your answer should cite the pertinent aspects of your professional and academic experience, personal interests, and how each degree will assist you in reaching your professional goals. (2 pages)
Essay 2: Please indicate your reasons for applying to the Carroll School of Management. Your answer should include your understanding of the culture and core values of the Carroll community and how you as a potential student and future alum will make an impact. (1 page)
Optional Essay: Please introduce yourself to the BC community. Feel free to be creative in expressing your message.

CSOM Dual Degree Application Instructions
Applicants interested in a dual degree offered within CSOM may submit one online application by selecting the appropriate dual degree option. All CSOM dual degree applicants must answer the Dual Degree Essay Questions (above).
All other application requirements are the same. Dual degree applicants are considered separately for both programs and it is possible to receive different decisions. If you have any questions, please contact the Graduate Management Admissions Office.
Other Dual Degree Application Instructions
Applicants interested in a dual degree with another Boston College school must apply to both CSOM and the partner school. Dual degree applicants may select the dual degree from the list of options in their CSOM application, but should still answer only the MBA essay questions.
