Kathleen Seiders

Kathleen Seiders is an associate professor of Marketing at Boston College. She received her PhD at Texas A&M University, where she was affiliated with the Center for Retailing Studies, and previously taught at Babson College. Dr. Seiders had a ten-year career in food retailing, with a focus on operations management.
Her research has been published in journals that include Organizational Dynamics, Journal of Marketing, Sloan Management Review, Marketing Management, Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Retailing, and Annals of Internal Medicine. Research interests include retailing strategy, services marketing, and food marketing. Dr. Seiders comments on retailing and marketing have been published in the New York Times, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Inc. Magazine, Economist, Christian Science Monitor, Supermarket Business, Women's Wear Daily, and Boston Globe.
She has been a guest on BBC Radio, National Public Radio's Marketplace and All Things Considered, CBS This Morning, CBS 60 Minutes, and CNBC news. Current research projects focus on service convenience.
