Kenneth Schwartz

Kenneth B. Schwartz, PhD

Associate Professor - Accounting Department

Ken Schwartz received his PhD. from Syracuse University. Previously, he taught at Boston University.  He is a member of the American Accounting Association.  His research interests are in financial reporting and disclosure, SEC regulations and enforcement, and the audit function.  He has published several articles on bankruptcy, business restructuring, executive compensation, audit opinions, and auditor changes.  He has also served as an outside accounting expert in several litigation cases.

Ken’s teaching interests are in financial accounting, accounting theory and regulation, and financial statement analysis.
