Lian Fen Lee, PhD

Assistant Professor - Accounting Department

Lian Fen Lee joins the Accounting Department faculty from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan where she expects to receive her Ph.D. this summer.  A native of Singapore, she received her Bachelor of Accountancy with First Class Honors from the Nanyang Technological University.  Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, she worked for Ernst & Young, Singapore.

Lian Fen has taught Financial and Managerial Accounting at the University of Michigan and Singapore Management University.  Her research focuses on the interplay among managerial incentives, financial reporting choices and the economic impact of accounting information.
