Message from the chair

Welcome to the web pages of the newest department in the Carroll School of Management. The Information Systems Department is young and growing as befits a discipline that is still in its infancy.

The Information Systems Department has an outstanding faculty committed to world-class teaching and cutting-edge research. Faculty members employ case studies, real-world applications, classroom and on-site interaction with IS professionals, and utilize state-of-the-art teaching tools such as wikis and podcasts, to facilitate learning among our students. Faculty do exciting research in a variety of areas and publish in leading journals such as, Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Marketing, Organization Science, and IEEE Transactions.

Our undergraduates receive a broad education in Liberal Arts, Management, and Information Systems. We offer a variety of courses at the MBA level. We take a personal interest in the development of our students. Our graduates are much in demand.
