Jeffrey L. Ringuest is the Director of Graduate Curriculum and Research for the Wallace E. Carroll School of Management and Professor of Operations and Strategic Management at Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. He formerly served as chair of the Operations and Strategic Management Department from 1989-1995.

Professor Ringuest teaches a variety of courses in management science and operations management, including a course on modeling and decision analysis in the first-year of the full-time MBA program. He has also taught executive seminars on “Optimizing Business Decisions Using Computer Spreadsheets” for the Management Center at Boston College.

Professor Ringuest is the author of Multiobjective Optimization: Behavioral and Computational Considerations, Kluwer Academic Press, 1992 and Models and Methods for Project Selection: Concepts from Management Science, Finance and Information Technology, Kluwer Academic Press, 2003. He has also published numerous papers in outlets such as Decision Sciences, Management Science, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. His research is in management science with application to problems in research and development, and technology management.
