Professor and Cleary Chair of Finance Jeffrey Pontiff received the Journal of Finance 2016 Amundi Smith Breeden First Prize for Does Academic Research Destroy Stock Return Predictability?.

Professor and Chairperson of the Finance Department & Seidner Family Faculty Fellow Ronnie Sadka won the 2016 Crowell Second Prize, on behalf of the Quantitative Research Group at PanAgora Asset Management for his paper “Real-time Corporate Sales and its Effects on Earnings Management, Surprises, and Drift.”

Alicia H. Munnell, Peter F. Drucker Chair in Management Sciences and Director of the Center for Retirement Research, shared her expertise with The Washington Post recently by explaining that "the problem with Social Security lies in its history."
