BIOGRAPHICAL SUMMARY
Prior to joining the faculty at Boston College, Pineda-Madrid was Assistant Professor of systematic theology at St. Mary’s College of California (2002-2005). She has taught at the Graduate Theological Union (2000) and at the University of San Francisco (1998). She serves as a faculty member not only of the theology department but also of the Institute of Religious Education and Pastoral Ministry (IREPM). She works at the intersection of systematic theology and practical theology. She grew up in northern New Mexico and west Texas, and has over a decade of professional ministerial experience primarily in the Archdiocese of Seattle. She has two grown step-children and resides with her husband in Boston.
