Prof. Diana Lobel, of the BU Department of Religious Studies, will present on “Prayer and Philosophical Mysticism in Islamic and Jewish Thought.”

Light refreshments will be provided, and we promise to conclude at precisely 9pm.

We also want to assure you that in the evening there is plenty of free parking in lots right by the School of Theology. More specific information will be available soon.

Pro.f James W. Morris will speak on "The Foundations of Islamic Comparative Theologies: Walaya (Sainthood/Divine Proximity) and the Barzakh (Spiritual World)"

We will have two short responses from Bagus Laksana (BC) and Dominic Longo (Harvard).

Directions: 21 Campanella Way is the new office building just below O¹Neill Library and next door to the Commonwealth Avenue garage. By car, enter the campus from Comm Ave. across from the T station, and proceed through the gate into campus to the garage. (See map at /about/maps/s-chestnuthill/ ) The campus is also accessible by the "B" Green line and, with a bit of a walk, by the "D" Green line.
