Church History
theology department

This minor is designed to give students an overview of the history of the Christian community, its life, thought, structure, and worship from its beginnings to the present day in introductory-level courses. In upper-level courses, the student can focus study on the development of the Church within a particular era or geographical setting.
The minor is open to all students, but may be of special interest to those interested in history, literature, theology, or philosophy. Professors for the minor are drawn from both the Theology and the History departments.
