In his sixteenth year as a resident company member at the American Repertory Theater, Remo Airaldi has performed in over sixty A.R.T. productions. He is a graduate of Harvard College (Department of English and American Literature and Language, Class of 1986) where he was a member of the Harvard-Radcliffe Dramatic Club and the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He received the 2006 Best Actor in a Large Company Award from The Independent Reviewers of New England for his performance as Arlequin in Marivaux’s ISLAND OF SLAVES at American Repertory Theater.
TEACHING: He is currently a Lecturer of Dramatic Arts at both Harvard College and the Harvard Extension School. His courses have included INTRODUCTION TO ACTING, ACTING CHEKHOV, ACTING SHAKESPEARE, and ACTING COMEDY (co-taught with Will Lebow). He has served as a Faculty Advisor on over 20 Harvard Radcliffe Dramatic Club productions at the Loeb Mainstage and the Loeb Experimental Theater (2001-2008). He has led acting workshops on the high-school, college and graduate level, primarily on IMPROVISATION and THEATER GAMES. He is also a Private Acting Coach, working primarily on Audition Techniques, Monologues and Voice & Speech Coaching.
