George Cooke

event coordinator & master sound technician

George has been working as an audio engineer since 1984. The early part of his career focused on music. He toured the country with 10000 Maniacs in 1989. During the early 90’s, he worked in venues like Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall, and many others with bands like Ziggy Marley, Tony Bennett, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Los Lobos. He moved to Boston in 1991 and started working at Boston College in the Audio Visual Department. George started sound designing the musicals at Robsham during this time. In 1995, he started his own business and has been concentrating on sound design for theater and corporate meetings. In George’s spare time, he plays and coaches Ultimate Frisbee, writes songs, and spends time with his family.
