Ms. McKinney has also been teaching in and around the Boston area for 15 years. Some of the schools where she has choreographed and/ or taught include Boston Conservatory, Emerson College, Brandeis University, Holy Cross, Walnut Hill School, Brookline High School, Newton North and South High Schools, to name a few. Some of her former students can been seen on Broadway in Chicago, Legally Blonde, and Wicked as well as many tours and on the CBS drama As the World Turns.
Ms. McKinney is also a performer nationally and internationally, her favorite role being Cassie in A Chorus Line. Most recently she traveled to Paris, France for the Anna Sokolow Dance Foundation and performed as a guest artist in Cambridge. She is also a principal dancer for the Sokolow Now! Dance Company which is dedicated to performing the works of the modern dance revolutionist Anna Sokolow under the artistic direction of Lorry May.
