theatre department - college of arts and sciences
Is BC the school for you? Are you checking it out? Do you have a special interest in theatre?
If so, we hope you'll look around our website and then be in touch with any questions you have. But a website can only tell you so much, so as you consider your plans, we encourage you to come to campus for a tour and an interview. If the timing is right you might also want to visit a class or see one of our productions.
Our goal is to be a model undergraduate theater program in a liberal arts setting, one that provides a solid foundation in theater study, pre-professional training in most theater disciplines, and the freedom to focus your education in a way that prepares for a variety of pursuits and career interests.
For general information about admission to Boston College, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 617-552-3100 or toll-free at 800-360-2522.
If you want to get a theater major's perspective on our program feel free to contact a member of our Council of Majors, a group of current students who advise the Chair, voice student concerns, and support departmental activities.
