The Theatre Department offers a wide range of courses in theater practice and in theater studies. The list below includes most of those courses arranged by category or discipline. Most courses are offered once a year, some every other year. Many courses have prerequisites.

Six of the courses listed below are required for the major. Any other 200-level-or-above courses will satisfy the General Elective requirement (two courses) for the major. Those marked with one asterisk (*) satisfy the Literature/Criticism/History requirement (two courses) and those marked with two asterisks (**) satisfy the Performance and Production requirement (two courses).
