Michelle Miller '98 returns to BC as the 15-16 Monan Professor in Theatre Arts

BC Alumnus, Michelle Miller, returns to BC this year as the Rev. J. Donald Monan, S.J. Professor in Theatre Arts. While in residence with the Theatre Department, Miller will teach an advanced class in Musical Theater Performance and direct the fall musical, Carousel (October 21-25, 2015).

Welcome to the Theatre Department's 15-16 Season!

The season begins with the great Rodgers & Hammerstein musical, Carousel, directed by this year's Monan Professor in Theatre Arts, Michelle Miller '98. The second show, Charles L. Mee's Big Love, directed by Scott T. Cummings is sure to be a wild ride. The two student-directed workshop productions are Time Stands Still written by Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Donald Margulies and directed by Caitlin Mason '16, and John Cariani's Almost, Maine directed by Ryan Cooper '16. A special treat this year is a second musical-- a new work called Learning How to Drown, written by BC alumnus Patricia Noonan '07 and lead by NYC director Igor Goldin. Rounding out the season is the farcical comedy, The Servant of Two Masters directed by funny man himself, Luke Jorgensen.
