SIMS is a service department in the College of Arts and Sciences set up to assist science department researchers and academic laboratories in solving scientific equipment problems. Clients are only required to pay for parts and materials unique to their projects.
The SIMS machine shop and electronics lab are located in Higgins 055.
Note:
In mid-August the Merkert 101 electronics lab will be relocated to Higgins 055. Equipment in need of service should be brought to Higgins 055.
