What is a Learning-Work Agreement?
A Learning-Work Agreement is a contract completed jointly by you and your placement supervisor at the beginning of placement work. It outlines expectations and learning goals and is signed by both you and your supervisor, indicating agreement that you will fulfill the stated expectations, achieve the stated learning goals, and adhere to the stated schedule. Your placement grade will be based directly on these criteria.
You will receive a blank Learning-Work Agreement from your Council member once you have chosen a placement and started your placement work. Your Council member will explain the importance of the LWA and give you tips on filling it out. You will then take your LWA to your placement, where your supervisor will fill out the rest of the form.
You will turn in the completed and signed LWA to your PULSE professor.
DUE DATE: Thursday, October 25 or Friday, October 26 (in class)
