Kara is living in Hoboken, NJ and working for the Catholic Medical Mission Board as their Pharmaceutical Unit Coordinator. She says of her job, "After volunteering with HIV+ substance abusers with Victory Programs and studying abroad in South Africa, I combined my interests to work with a faith based non profit that provides international healthcare."
Emily Ball:
After graduation, I decided to put my plans to attend a graduate program in
social work on hold for a year in order to join AmeriCorps*VISTA. As a VISTA,
I work at a community college in the Civic Engagement and Service Learning Program.
I work with faculty, students, and the community to help promote active citizenship.
My year of service ends in July and then I will be headed to New York City for
the fall!
