Michelle J. Lally:
"I went to medical school at the University of Virginia. I then did
my medical residency and infectious disease fellowship at the Deaconess Hospital
in Boston. I got married in November 1995 and now have a beautiful baby boy
named Christopher. Mike and I are still living in the North End of Boston, and
I am commuting down to Providence three days per week. I am working with AIDS
patients who I see at the Miriam Hospital and at the ACI Prision. I am also
doing clinical research. Life is busy but good!!!" mlally@massmed.org
Faith H. Angelakis:
"In 1989, I began work at the Therapetic Center (a former PULSE placement)
as an assistant teacher. From there I went on to graduate school at Lesley College
where I got my Masters in Elementary Education. I moved to Connecticut in 1992
where I got a job as a second grade teacher in Windham Public Schools. I have
been here ever since! Now I am teaching a multi-age classroom of second and
third graders and loving it! I work with the CT State Dept. of Ed. as a seminar
leader and a portfolio judge for beginning teachers."
James Forbes:
"After graduation I enjoyed some brief forays into working with youth in
residential treatment and administering respite services for families with children
with developmental disabilities. I caught my stride in 1991 after moving to
Burlington, Vermont with my fiance, and now wife, Chrissy. Since then we have
added two beautiful children, Emma (in 1996) and Eden (in 1999) to our family.
I completed a Masters in Public Administration in 1996 and "fell"
into working for the state's child welfare agency. Since then I have coordinated
the placement of children in foster care; developed agency policy on kinship
care; worked as a child abuse and neglect investigator; and currently investigate
child abuse and neglect in state regulated child care, foster care, residential
treatment facilities and public schools. My family, friends and devotion to
playing Irish traditional music on the fiddle keep me sane! I home my compadres
on the Council find themselves well! You are remembered fondly. jforbes@srs.state.vt.us"
