Kerry McGowan:
"After graduation, I spent 2 1/2 years in the Peace Corps in Thailand teaching English. After that, I worked for 2 years in a refugee camp in Thailand, and upon returning to the states I worked for 6 years with a refugee service program in Boston, running youth services and writing and teaching a substance abuse prevention curriculum. Currently, since 1995, I am working at the Phillips Brooks House Association of Harvard University, the undergraduate public service program here (kind of bringing me full circle from my PULSE days). I have also been teaching English as a Second Language part-time for the City of Cambridge's adult education program for the past 12 years."  kmcgowan@fas.harvard.edu

Joan Kwiatkowski:
"I am married to Michael Tauber. We have two delightful children Rachel (6) and Ben (2), and recently moved to RI for a new job. I've spent most of my career in social work administration and health care administration. I still keep in touch with PULSE Council friends-almost 20 years later!" jkiatko@lifespan.org
