Psychology
A score of 4 or 5 on the A.P. Psychology examination can be substituted for either PS 110 or PS 111, but students substituting an A.P. exam score for one of these introductory courses are required to take an additional 200-level psychology course (for a total of four courses at the 200-level) to complete their major in Psychology.
Math
Advanced Placement credit in math that has been approved by the Mathematics Department satisfies one semester of the Psychology major's two-semester Mathematics corequisite.
*The Math requirement has been eliminated for students matriculating in the Fall of 2006 and thereafter; those students will no longer be required to take any additional courses in mathematics beyond those required for their University Core Requirement.
