Academic Interests: Veronica is interested in understanding the way the brain processes reward-specific information. Her research focuses on examining the role of dopamine activity in the performance of previously acquired reward-directed behavioral responses as well as neuronal activity of nucleus accumbens cells during behavioral responses to reward-predictive environmental cues.
