Welcome from the Director
dr. robert wolff
Thank you for your interest in the Premedical/Predental/Preveterinary Program at Boston College. We have a long history of outstanding prehealth advising. Indeed, our alumni/ae have attended, or are attending, medical, dental and veterinary schools in many areas of the country. Reflecting the various geographic and academic backgrounds of Boston College students, over the past five years they have been accepted at a wide range (over 180) of both private and public health professions graduate schools in the United States.
The Premedical/Predental/Preveterinary Program at Boston College is not a major; it is simply a program of study. It is also an “open program,” and therefore students do not need to maintain a certain cumulative average, nor do they have to complete the required courses within a pre-determined timeframe in order to remain “premed/predent/prevet.” Students are free to major in any discipline that interests them and, in fact, we encourage our students to take advantage of the many liberal arts opportunities available to them here at Boston College.
Please explore our website to learn more about the exciting programs we offer.
