MCAT

Health professions graduate schools will not only look closely at your science (BCPM) and overall cumulative averages, but they will also closely examine your performance on objective entrance exams (e.g. MCAT, DAT, GRE etc.). Studies have shown a positive correlation between performance on the SATs and MCATs/DATs, etc., so if you are a "poor test taker," we suggest you work on strategies to improve your performance on these types of exams.  Once in health professions graduate school, students have to take and pass "national boards" in order to become licensed, so it is important that you are able to perform adequately on objective exams.
