David Deese Professor |
David A. Deese teaches and researches the politics and institutions of international economic relations. His most recent book is World Trade Politics: Power, Principles, and Leadership, 2007. His edited book, The New Politics of American Foreign Policy, remains a leading text in this area. A chapter, “From Executive Crafting to Pluralistic Politics: Political and Economic Reform in Developing States,” frames the new book Development and Democracy: New Perspectives on an Old Debate, edited by Jeffrey Cason and Sunder Ramaswamy.
