Paul T. Christensen received his BA in Political Science and Russian Studies from the Univeristy of Washington, Seattle, and his MA/Ph.D. in Politics from Princeton University. Professor Christensen taught at Syracuse University and Princeton University before coming to Boston College in 2001. His particular interests are: Russian domestic politics, with a particular interest in social movements and civil society; the comparative study of social movements; and globalization and its implications for democracy and civil society development. He is currently working on a book project entitled, Semi-peripheral Globalization, Social Movements, and the State in post-Communist Russia. Office: McGuinn 530 |
