Political Theory: History of Political Philosophy/Early Modern Thought/Anglo-American Constitutionalism

The Department of Political Science at Boston College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position, beginning September 2015, in political philosophy. We are seeking candidates with a broad training in the history of political philosophy, but with particular expertise in the theoretical foundations of modern republicanism, including the American founding and Anglo-American constitutionalism. Applicants should have completed the PhD or be demonstrably close to finishing at the time of application. Rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor, depending upon degree status. American Politics: Political Behavior/Research Methods

The Department of Political Science at Boston College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position, beginning September 2015, to teach courses in political behavior (for example, public opinion, political psychology, political attitude formation, voting, participation, or the media and politics) as well as courses appropriate for upper-level undergraduates and graduate students in basic statistics and the logic of political inquiry. Applicants should have completed the PhD or be very near to finishing. Rank will be Assistant Professor or Instructor, depending upon degree status.
