Areas of Research
Spectroscopic studies of novel solids, interfaces and nano-materials. Materials of interest include: Topological Insulators, Unconventional Superconductors, Spin/Valleytronics, thermoelectrics and 2D atomics crystals. Our group is capable of studying these materials with a wide-range of spectroscopic tools (Infrared Spectroscopy, Raman Microscopy, Tip-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy, and differential conductance) as well as producing novel interfaces and nanostructure using mechanical exfoliation and bonding (developed by our group).
