Position in Lonergan Studies
Open rank, tenure-track. AOS: Thought of Bernard Lonergan, S.J. AOC: Open, but we are especially interested in candidates capable of bringing Lonergan’s work into constructive dialogue with a variety of disciplines and contemporary issues. Successful candidates must demonstrate excellence in previous scholarship on the work of Lonergan, as well as excellence in teaching. Candidates will be expected to contribute significantly to the work of the Lonergan Institute at Boston College (http://bclonergan.org/), as well as to research and teaching in the Departments of Philosophy and/or Theology. Teaching responsibilities (2-2 course load) will include undergraduate and graduate courses, plus PhD supervision.
