letter to students interested in performance

Welcome prospective BC music students:
This letter is to let you know about some of the performance opportunities we offer at BC, and more importantly, how to find out more about them. The Music department will be holding several informational meetings during which you will be able to learn about the many performance opportunities offered in the Music department. A number of music faculty members and music students will attend and be available to talk with you and answer your questions, and there will be fabulous homemade cookies! I encourage anyone who is or might be interested in any of the Music department offerings to attend.
Dates, times and location of Music department meetings are as follows:
Sunday, August 31, 1:00 p.m., Lyons Hall 423
Sunday, August 31, 3:00 p.m., Lyons Hall 423
Monday, September 1, 1:00 p.m., Lyons Hall 423
Sunday, September 7, 2:00 p.m., Lyons Hall 423
In addition, the BC Arts Council will host a welcome reception at Robsham Theatre Friday, August 29 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Faculty and students from all BC arts disciplines will be giving short presentations and will be available for questions.

- Popular Styles Ensemble
- Improvisation, Levels I - III
- Irish Fiddle, Tin Whistle and Dance
*Students interested in auditioning are required to attend one of the Music department meetings.
