Members of the BC Community Participate in San Salvador Vigil

Four members of the Boston College community: Michael Malec (Associate Professor, Sociology), Barbara Viechnicki (Associate Dean, A&S Dean’s Office), Daniel Leahy (Campus Minister, Campus Ministry), and Lauren Gannon (International Study Advisor, International Programs) visited the Casa de la Solidaridad in San Salvador and participated in a Saturday night vigil to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the assassination of six Jesuits and two women at the University of Central America.

Among their hosts at the Casa were five BC students: Christine Soran (A&S ´06), Shannon Jerolmon (LSOE ´06), Brendan Ruddy (A&S ´06), David Rod (A&S ´06), and Sara Dart (A&S ´06).
