Favorite math class at Boston College
I definitely lean towards the pure side of the spectrum. Anything with algebra or topology is right up my alley.
Why did you decide to major in math?
I started out as a Finance/Art double major but when I first learned proof by induction I was hooked.
What do you like about math?
I feel like math is this sort of exclusive club, and once you’re part of the club, the number of jokes that become available to you goes off to infinity, like saying that the chicken crossed the road because of the intermediate value theorem.
What do you hope to do after graduating?
Teaching is definitely something I could see myself doing. I would love to go to grad school and become a professor or teach at the high school level.
