Part 3 of The Yusuf Trilogy; We are carried back further in time to Yusuf’s childhood. Yusuf and his father are best friends, and their bond seems unbreakable. His father works as a beekeeper, and brings money back to his family through his apiary. One day, his father suddenly disappears while working. Yusuf worries ceaselessly about his compadre, wondering whether or not he’ll return. At the same time, Yusuf is struggling academically, and his mother worries that he’ll end up working as a beekeeper if he doesn’t succeed in school.
