Judy manages the Business Services unit, which is dedicated to assisting the tenants in Higgins Hall with procurement, travel, payroll related matters and sponsored research. The Business Services unit serves as the primary liaison with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, The Office for Sponsored Programs, Human Resources, and the Human Resources Service Center.
Irina Bariakhtar-Nazarenko – Communications Specialist

Serving as the communications resource for the departments of Biology and Physics, Irina manages and designs all electronic and print materials, including web sites, admission CDs, announcements and development materials. She works closely with faculty and staff to plan and strategize their communication projects. As a liaison with the Office of Marketing Communications, Irina ensures University standards are employed on all media.
Rosemary Brady Panza – Grant Proposal & Award Administrator

Rosemary works directly with all faculty to identify potential external funding opportunities. She assists with proposal preparation including development of budgets and review of all applications for institutional compliance and sponsor regulations. Rosemary acts as a liason between faculty and the Office for Sponsored Programs.

Christine processes both supply and capital equipment requisitions in addition to soliciting formal bids and securing new vendors. She is responsible for maintaining strong relationships and meeting regularly with our primary vendors. She is actively involved in business reviews and negotiating pricing and contracts with our primary vendors and works with them to find similar products that offer cost savings. In addition, she organizes and coordinates shows, seminars, and training, for continued awareness of new products and offers in the field and to foster learning for both the Biology and Physics Departments.
Donna Gillis - Fiscal Assistant

Donna is the primary customer service provider for the Business Office. She makes initial contact with vendors regarding pricing and availability of products for both the Biology and Physics Departments. Donna also processes expense reimbursements and travel reimbursements for faculty, staff and students.
John O'Grady - Operations Manager

As manager of the Operations office, John acts as the primary liaison between the facility departments and BC's Facilities Management, Planning and Construction, Space Management, Audio Visual, Purchasing, Environmental Health and Safety, BC Police Department and outside service providers. He also handles issues pertaining to safety and security, building security and systems, repairs and maintenance, and alterations and renovations.

Brad is responsbile for the receiving and shipping duties for both the Biology and Physics Departments. As the Operations Assistant, Brad assists the Operations Manager in daily tasks within the Higgins facility, including safety and building security. Furthermore, Brad primarily manages the new chemical inventory system.
