Giving to German Studies
german studies department
Gifts to the Discretionary Fund of the Department of German Studies will help us to continue along the same path of excellence that has yielded such wonderful outcomes in past years. Specifically, your contribution would support such crucial activities as: student research grants, language-acquisition grants, our growing internships program, and acquisition of books for our departmental library.
As in the past, German Studies continues to distinguish itself as one of the top-achieving undergraduate departments at Boston College. In fact, though we are the smallest academic unit in the University, we routinely produce, almost every single year, more Fulbright and DAAD winners than any other American German department.
If you have thoughts on how you would wish to help advance our initiatives to provide the best teaching and research in German Studies, please be in touch. We strive to offer our undergraduate majors and minors the best possible preparation for lives and careers enriched by German language and culture.
Should you want to discuss making a special gift to the department, please be in touch with the Office of the Director of Development, College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, David Cave, Ph.D., at 617-552-9179.
